Introduction:
Ehsaas Programme is known as Benazir Income support program which was created to alleviate the poverty and to make the society a better place. Its main purpose was to
help the backward areas and lifting the districts which are lagging behind. This initiative was taken by Government of Pakistan.A separate ministry was established for
this Welfare Programme. Prime minister was serving as Chairperson of this Benazir Programme. Ehsaas Emergency program was introduced for the lower Income families in
Pakistan. Covid Panidemic and Ehsaas kafalat are the major pillars of Ehsaas Programme. These programmes covered nearly 10 millions people in pakistan.
In the times of Covid Panidemic, Ehsaas Imdaad Programme helped the people with low salaries and provided stipend so that they can fulfill their needs.This program was praised by World Bank and listed it in Top Global Social Protection programmes. This Welfare programme covered the 13.2 millions people in Pakistan which was struggling due to
their lower income.
Background:
Pakistan Tehreek ee Insaaf which was come in government in 2018 Election promised in their menifesto that they will bring new socail programmes for pakistani people and
also they improved the Benazir Income Support Programme and bring new ideas in it to overcome the poverty in Pakistan.
Objective:
In Constitution of Pakistan, It is emboded to create a welfare state. Ehsaas programme is the intiative for this Welfare State.

Eligibility:
This programme is for the people of pakistan which are unable to fulfill their needs like widows , orphans, poor people, Low income persons, disabled person, Farmers
, labourers, for students, for womer, for elderly people and for jobless people. Basic intent of this programme is to uplift the higher poverty areas ehsas kafalat program.
Structure:
This programme was introduced on 27 March, 2019 by the federal government of Pakistan. This Ehsaas Program Includes different Social Programs like Ehsaas Panagah Program
Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program, Ehsaas Talemi Wazifa, Ehsaas Petrol Cards, Ehsaas Ration Riayat and Ehsaas Scholorships.
In Covid Panedemic, the key Programs are Ehsaas Amdan, Ehsaas Kafalat and Ehsaas Emergency Cash Programmes. Ehsaas Scholorship Programme is for the needy and deserving
Students. Ehsaas free Ata programme is also introduced and helped millions of people in Pakistan.
